My path into software engineering has been shaped by a mix of leadership, operations, and hands-on problem solving. Before fully transitioning into technology, I spent years working in residential services and manufacturing, where I learned how to coordinate complex work, communicate across teams, and deliver practical solutions under pressure. Those experiences taught me how businesses actually operate, and they gave me a strong foundation for building software that supports real workflows, improves efficiency, and creates measurable value.

In my current role as a Construction Technology and Project Integration Manager, I lead technology implementations and cross-functional projects designed to improve operational performance and drive business growth. This work keeps me close to the intersection of process, systems, and user adoption, which is exactly where I enjoy building most. I have seen firsthand how the right technology can streamline work, improve visibility, and create momentum across an organization.

I made the decision to fully immerse myself in software development in 2024, and since then I have built a strong technical foundation through self-directed study and disciplined practice. I focus on full-stack product development, with an emphasis on thoughtful architecture, maintainable code, and user-centered design. In 2025, I applied to Georgia Tech's Master of Science in Computer Science program to continue deepening my expertise, and I am currently enrolled there with a focus on Machine Learning.

What sets me apart is the combination of technical capability and business perspective. I understand how teams work, how projects are prioritized, and how software connects to broader organizational goals. That perspective helps me design solutions that are not only technically sound, but also practical, scalable, and aligned with the people using them every day.

I build full-stack web applications with a strong emphasis on reliability, usability, and production readiness. My work spans backend systems, APIs, and database design, as well as frontend implementation and system integration. I enjoy working across the stack and partnering with stakeholders to turn ideas into clean, effective digital products.

My go-to toolkit includes Python, Django, and Django REST Framework for backend development; vanilla JavaScript for front-end work; PostgreSQL and SQLite for data storage; Heroku for deployment; and services such as Stripe, Shippo, and OAuth to support secure, real-world product experiences. I am especially interested in opportunities where I can contribute to meaningful products, collaborate with strong engineering teams, and continue growing in software development.
